GORGEOUS LARGE OPAL & 14k GOLD VICTORIAN PIN
Presented is a very attractive 14 kt. gold and opal pin. Six fiery
oval cabochon opals surround a central round opal. All of the opals
are prong set and very secure. The opals have very nice green, blue
and red fire. Although the setting looks very Victorian, this piece
was probably made within the past 40 years. The clasp on the reverse
is modern.
This piece is stamped 14 kt. gold on the reverse. The clasp, the hinge
and the pin back are all in perfect working order. None of the opals
have any chips or cracks. The gold has no breaks or problems of any
kind.
The weight is 13.4 grams.
The maximum diameter is 44 mm or 1 3/4 inches.
