From a local 1930's estate
A 84 year Old Silver Coin
On the front is a picture of Liberty
The front reads:
from left to right
E. Pluribus Unum
1921 - (The card container it is in is marked 1921-O, BUT, I can not
locate the O!?!)
On the Back of the coin it reads:
United States of America
In God We Trust
Then in the center is the picture is the American Eagle hlding arrows
and a branch
This is a very stunning coin and the artwork is gorgeous
I am not a coin appraiser or collector
However
If I were to grade this coin as they do
I would haveto say VERY FINE
Outstanding striking condition
Some light surface scratches on front, but nothing horrible especially
considering it is 84 years old!!!
This is from the estate of a man that traveled the world and belonged
to a group called "THE REAPERS" during WORLD WAR II the 89th Attack
Squadron
He was a gunner on a B-25
