No hum. In good condition – no cracks. Handle is intact. Some of the
paint has worn off (see pictures)

This auction is for the Philco AM Tube Radio pictured above. This
radio is from a gentleman's collection of which I have been selling
radios and phonographs over the last month and he is planning on
selling the entire collection, so if you are interested in these items
keep an eye on my auctions for some really nice sets coming soon.
Please use the pictures as your guide when bidding and do not rely
solely on my description for I am not an expert on this set.
1. Cabinet - Very clean and solid and still has the original finish.
As you can see there is a little flaking of the finish around the
bottom trim piece..
2. Chassis - Appears clean and all components appear to be intact.
3. All the knobs are intact and I believe they are all original.
4. Dial Face - Very clean and readable. All stations numbers are there
and showing no sign of wear.
5. Speaker - is in good condition with no rips or tears. The speaker
grill cloth is also in good shape with no rips or tears.
6. Dimensions of this set are - 14 L x 6.5 W x 7.5 H
This is a beautiful example of a Philco table top tube radio, the
cabinet of this set is in excellent condition. I have not plugged this
set in so I do not know if it works or not.
Winning bidder will pay actual shipping plus insurance on items over
$50. Approximate shipping weight of the radio is 8 pounds before
packaging (please allow about 10 to 15 pounds for packing materials)
and will be shipped from zip code 16037. Also there is a $6 charge
for packing materials so that this set can be packaged properly to
assure safe arrival. I will be shipping this set via Fed Ex or UPS
ground. Payment can be made through Paypal or by money order. Due to
the age of this radio I will be selling it as is with no warranty or
guarantee or refunds of any kind unless you receive the wrong item or
I have grossly misrepresented the item. Please remember this is an
antique not a new item. All insurance claims that may need filed will
be left up to the buyer.
