AMT / Ertl 1957 Chevrolet Corvette Gasser 1:25 scale model kit. Released
in 1990. This model kit is unbuilt and comes complete with decals,
instructions, chrome and clear plastic parts and all four Goodyear
tires ! Most of the pieces are still attached to the trees with some
loose pieces. Nothing broken or painted. In nice ( clean ) overall
condition. Box shows signs of shelf wear and handling ( creases,
wrinkles, dent, etc. ) No tape repairs. Since I cannot guarantee that
all of the pieces will be there, model kit will be sold as-is. Model
kit specifications:
* TYPE: 2-seat, front-engine, rear-wheel-drive convertible
* ENGINE: 283 cu. in. V-8
* OPTIONS: Supercharger, fuel-injection system
* TRANSMISSION: 4-speed manual
* WHEELS & TIRES: 5-spoke mag wheels, Goodyear Polyglas GT front
tires, Goodyear rear drag slicks
* EXTERIOR OPTIONS: Poseable front wheels, hinged front end, choice
of convertible top or removable factory hardtop, spotlights
* INTERIOR OPTIONS: Auxiliary gauge cluster, tachometer, roll bar
with headrest
The Corvette underwent a dramatic styling change in 1956, and the
1957 was an almost identical twin. The short comings of the early
Corvettes were corrected and the Corvette started to find its
identity; An American built sports car for Americans.
The soft tops fit better and for the first time were offered with
optional power assist. A factory hardtop was available with real
glass and power assists for the windows could be ordered.
Styling of the '57 body is considered timeless and a masterpiece
of sports car design. Performance wise the Corvette came of age
and became popular with racers.
This kit builds a supercharged or fuel-injected versions and comes
loaded with optional parts for your own personal touch.

Chevrolet Corvette - the first series of the plastic Chevy. This kit
offers optional finish parts. The shrink wrap is intact and unopened.
Shipment will be by Canada Post Small Packet, Expedited Parcel, Air or
Surface parcel - depending on the size/weight of the box. Note that
all kits will be carefully packed in a new cardboard box to prevent
damage. If paying by money order, please use an International Money
Order not a Domestic one. Allow at least three weeks for delivery if

Here Is a super rare find. This is a old "SMP" model kit of a 1960
vette!. It has been but together but done very well not a "Glue Bomb"!Body
is not warped or broken(and never has been) Very nice clear
glass..Very nice model Includs original decal sheet and extra
parts(please click on photos to see supersize). Also includs original
box (very good shape not falling apart) super cool model!
