This auction offers a beautiful glass kerosene/oil finger lamp in all
original excellent condition. The clear glass base and font have a
raised ribbed pattern (the base is raised inside and the font
outside). The burner wick control knob has embossed on it- "M.B. CO.
N.Y. PAT. APL. 30 83". The brass rim of the burner assembly which is
attached to the lamp base has- "PATENTED SEP. 19 1882 AND DEC. 4 1883"
plus five stars. The chimney has a fine hobnail/ piecrust upper rim.
The glass base is very interesting as it shows use of a three piece
mold for the base and a two piece mold for the font section. The
overall height with chimney in place is 13". The font and base
section is 4 7/8" high. The font and base with burner in place is 6
1/4" high. The diameter of the base is 4 1/8". This wonderful old
lamp is in perfect condition- no chips or cracks or repairs. Please

I believe this shade is for an oil lamp, but I'm not 100% positive. In
excellent condition. Measures 7" tall. Brass insert measures 2"
across. Opening measures 1-1/2". Due to zone pricing with regards to
mailing costs, I will no longer quote estimated shipping in my
descriptions. Shipping will be charged at actual cost plus $1.00 to
help cover the cost of packaging material. If you would like an
