Cobalt Blue Ink Bottle Signet almost full exc cond

i listed this in this category because they didn't have a section for ink
bottles under modern (post 1900) bottles. it is an anchor hocking
bottle with a patent date of 1932 on the bottom. it is labeled Signet
which i think may have something to do with Rexall Drug Stores.(they
sold a signet fountain pen) it says on the label that its from the
makers of Lepage's Glue, the Russia Cement Co. of Gloucester, Mass. it
has its original stopper and appears to be about 95% full. this is a
quart bottle no.88 and is about 11" to the top of the stopper. for
some reason the flash on my digital camera made this bottle look
purple, but its a nice rich cobalt blue. the bottle has safety grip
sides. feel free to email any specific questions you might have and
i'll answer them to the best of my ability. shipping will be exact, i
don't charge for handling or packing materials, and will be determined
at the end of the auction. the full bottle weighs about 3 1/2 pounds
so figure on 4 to 4 1/2 packed if you'd like to guesstimate shipping
from 06278. i require a money order or bank check of some kind from
newer ebayers but will generally accept a personal check from members
with excellent feedback numbering 20 or higher. no paypal or bidpal or

You are bidding on the bottle in the centre of the above picture.
It is a 20oz poison bottle, cobalt blue in colour and hexagonal in
shape. It was manufactured using a 2-piece mould, and the lip was hand
applied.
The front panel is vertically embossed POISON, with vertical ribbing
to the 2 adjacent panels. The base is embossed 20oz.
There is a crack running down the length of the body between the front
and adjoining sides, and a slight chip from the side of the lip.
It is 8¾" (22.5cm) tall.
