Pressed Glass Oil Kerosene Lamp Early 1900's Atterbury Attribution

All original, this lovely old lamp has a Nutmeg Eagle burner. The high
base is nicely fluted with deep petals over a wide base band. The
ovoid kerosene font is simple and elegant. It dates in the early
1900's, in very fine original condition. The lamp measures 20 inches
up to the top of the chimney with a 10 inch lamp base. The diameter
base is 6 inches.

Classic Victorian era parlor oil lamp in all clean, original
condition. This is a pressed milk glass pattern known as Cosmos and
features raised floral designs on exterior in original painted finish.
Cosmos pattern glass items were made by the Consolidated Glass
Company. Milk glass oil lamp is in very good overall condition with no
chips, cracks or damages, Colors are clean and clear with not much
surface wear as these are usually found. Has its original brass collar
and burner, burner is marked on wick turner P & A Co. Overall size
including the glass chimney is 18†high, base itself is about 7â€
high. A great looking vintage oil lamp that looks and displays very
well, guaranteed old and authentic Cosmos piece….

I have seen a lamp like this one listed on eBay once before and
in her description she mentions that it appears in the Ruth Smith
vol. 1 reference as fig. 369. I haven't been able to confirm this only
because I do not have the book.The lamp stands at 81/2" tall, has no
cracks and only one small chip on the top rim of the chimney. The
gold striping is worn off in places and has no wick. The burner is
marked P&A Hornet.
