You are bidding on a LARGE WHITE SHADE-I AM SELLING FOR A FRIEND. MY
FRIENDS 85 YEAR OLD MOTHER IS THE ORIGINAL OWNER. MY FRIEND HAS ASKED
ME TO SELL THIS SHADE AND 2 DIFFERENT ALADDIN LAMPS FOR HER ON EBAY.
HER MOTHER HAD THE SHADE IN A BOX MARKED "SHADE FOR ALADDIN LAMP" SO
WE THINK THAT IT IS-BUT NEITHER OF HER LAMPS HAVE THE METAL RING THAT
WOULD NEED TO BE ATTACHED TO THE LAMP IN ORDER TO HOLD THIS BIG SHADE.
SO WE ARE SELLING THE SHADE SEPARATELY IN THIS AUCTION.
Top measures 4 1/2" across WITH A INTER DIAMETER 3"
Height: 7"
Bottom outside diameter measures 10", inside diameter is 9 3/4 th-
Shade weight 3 lbs. Excellent condition. No CRACKS, chips. Lower EDGE
HAS SOME ROUGH SPOTS WHERE IT ONCE SAT ON A METAL RING TO HOLD IT UP
BUT NO REAL CHIPS
THE SHADE HAS RIDGES THAT DIVIDE IT INTO 16 EQUAL SECTIONS OR
PANELS-EVERY OTHER ONE HAS BEEN HAND PAINTED WITH VERY DELICATE BLUE
AND LAVENDER FLOWERS. ONE PANEL IS SIGNED BY ARTIST "JO 94" I DON'T
KNOW IF THE PAINTING WAS DONE IN 1894 OR 1994-BUT WOULD GUESS THE
LATER DATE BECAUSE IT LOOKS PERFECT-IF OVER 100 YEARS OLD I WOULD
EXSPECT SOME PAINT LOSS-AND I DON'T SEE ANY HERE. LOOKS GREAT TO ME.

This lovely older bedroom lamp is made of glass with the inside painted
pink and hand painted flowers on the front. It has the shade although
it is badly damaged. The cord is fine and the lamp is working. On the
top edge of the glass is a line it could be a crack but it's hard to
tell. It does not effect the lamp though. The lamp base is 9" tall and
4 1/2" wide.

This BEAUTIFUL milkglass dresser/vanity lamp features hand painted
pink roses. It is an older lamp with the OLD cord that may need to be
replaced. The glass base and glass globe are in EXCELLENT condition.
This would make a great addition to any Shabby Chic or ROMANTIC
cottage decor. It stands 13" tall and the base is 6" diameter.
