What Size Should You Buy?
Don't buy any pillow with the word medium in it. They are definitely
too small. I am a Chiropractor and I recommend Large or X-large to my
patients - either Regular or Queen length.
My first Tempurpedic was a medium and it was so small and
uncomfortable I had to give it to my 12 year old son.
I find Queen Large is best for under 5'6" and Queen X-Large is best
for over 5'6". This is not the official Tempurpedic guideline and is
based on feedback from my patients and their preferences. And the
patient usually knows best!
The pillow height measurement is very important, because the smaller
size pillows Do Not provide enough pillow between the shoulder ball
and the neck cradle. This will cause your head to slump into the
curve, and undue strain is placed on muscles in the neck junction.
This support is necessary for both side and back sleepers!
