This auction is for a vintage Arts & Crafts style, copper metal,
ceiling light fixture. This fixture is hexagon shaped with amber
pebble textured glass panels and cut-out-work details. The fixture
measures: 9 3/8"diameter x 3 3/4"deep. The glass panels have metal
grill-work for protection. It has one socket with old cloth-covered
wiring and a stub for a second socket. One glass has an edge chip but
it doesn't show. There is a hinged door for easy access to changing
the bulb. The threaded pipe for hanging is missing as well as a center
finial.....TERRIFIC LOOKING COPPER CEILING FIXTURE!!!

Here's an old iron hanging ceiling light fixture with frosted glass
slip shade type of panels. It is 31" in length when hanging down from
the ceiling. The fixture itself measures 15" in length and about 11"
wide.
The paint seems to be original to this fixture. There is a little bit
of paint wear with more noticeable wear and scratches to the stem and
cup that hangs from the ceiling. The chain has a lot of paint loss.
The overall condition of the light fixture itself is fantastic. We do
not have the means to test this but it does seem to be newly re-wired
and it can take 5 bulbs.
The fixture takes 5 frosted panels but there are 6 so there is an
extra one. Each panel measures 6" in length by 4 1/4" wide at one end
and 2 3/4" at the other end. We believe the panels to be replacements
to this light but do not know when or how old they are. The panels
just "sit" in the opening and there is nothing to keep them in place
like there are no clips. If this did take slip shades, you can see
where there is a bottom grove area and little bar that would hold them
more or less in place. Two of the panels have a few tiny chips on the
rim while the other 4 have a few little larger but more flat type of
chips on the rim. The overall condition of the glass panels is very
nice.

checks require 10 days to clear before item is shipped. Winning bidder
to pay the actual shipping and insurance by U.S.P.S. Priority Mail,
Parcel Post and/or in some cases 1st class mail plus a $.75 cents

books and tapes, we can send items by Media Mail to save on the

Great old Art Deco Bakelite Ceiling Fixture/ light

Up for auction is this great old bakelite ceiling fixture, its very
art deco and everything except the shaft is bakelite.
Its in excellent condition although one shade has a little yellowing
in one place, probably from the heat of the globe. The white spots on
one of the close ups were a bit of packing that it picked up, I later
brushed it off, but didn't want to re-do the picture.
Dimensions are, 28 inches from top to bottom, 21 inches shade to
shade, the shades and the centre pieces are 8 inches in diameter.
