UNTESTED , BUT LOOKS CLEAN INSIDE, DIAL WORKS SO I WOULD ASSUME IT
WORKS OR NEEDS VERY LITTLE. EITHER WAY ITS SOLD AS-IS. THE BODY IS
METAL AND MARKED H3 THE DIAL IS MARKED 4H, THE BASE IS MARKED 9/38THE
COIL IS MARKED III-38 101-B THE BELLS ARE MARKED 9/38 AND STAMPED B2A
IT HAS A F1 HANDSET A RUBBER CORD AND ONE CLOTH CORD WITH A FOUR PIN
PLUG. THE CRADEL HAS SOME PAINT LOSS,AS SEEN IN THE PICTURE BUT IT
CAN BE REFINISHED BY STRIPPING THE CASE SANDING IT AND REPAINTING
IT.THATS ABOUT ALL I CAN TELL YOU ABOUT THIS PHONE. PLEASE SEE THE

THIS IS A NEAT OLD BLACK PHONE BY "WESTERN ELECTRIC" FOR THE "BELL
SYSTEM". VERY HEAVY - BLACK IN COLOR - MAYBE BAKELITE?? IN GOOD
WORKING CONDITION - I HOOKED IT UP AND COULD MAKE AND RECEIVE CALLS. I
COULD NOT GET IT TO RING BUT THEY TELL ME THATS BECAUSE THE NEW PHONE
SYSTEMS DON'T HAVE ENOUGH ENERGY IN THE LINES FOR THE RINGER AND WE
NOW USE TWO WIRES INSTEAD OF THREE. I PUT A PIECE OF TAPE OVER THE
LINE THAT IS UNNECESARY. SOMEONE WHO KNOWS PHONES COULD GET IT TO
RING. THE WIRE THAT RUNS TO THE PHONE JACK IN THE WALL IS CLOTH
CCOVERED AND IN GREAT SHAPE. THE WIRE RUNNING TO THE HEADSET IS RUBBER
COVERED AND IN GOOD CONDITION. CHECK IT OUT!
