About Sculpted Wire
Jewelry crafted from wire is said have first appeared in ancient
Egypt. Wire-sculpted jewelry, however, is a new and innovative
technique of working with wire to form jewelry. It is much more than
wire wrapping---it is an art-form in itself.
Using finest quality jeweler's wire. Because of the very nature of the
craft, no two pieces are ever exactly alike, therefore, when you
purchase one of these designs, you will be wearing your own unique
piece of Wearable Art.
What Is Rolled Gold?
Gold filled jewelry is sometimes referred to as "Rolled Gold". 14 kt
gold-filled wire is made by forming a tube of solid 14kt gold that is
"filled" with a base metal. The gold is bonded to the base metal with
heat and pressure. The base metal is also gold in color and is made up
of almost the same mixture of metals used to bring 24kt gold down to
14kt, 10kt, etc. The exterior of the product is solid 14 kt gold and
everything you can see or touch is a solid layer of 14 kt gold. This
is why it will never tarnish, chp or wear off. The gold layer on
gold-filled wire is approximately 100 times thicker than gold-plate
and is boned with heat and pressure.
The gold wire I use is made to my own specifications and each piece
created is guaranteed to last a lifetime!

ESTATE, antique, vintage 14kt. white gold and diamond engagement ring and
wedding band ring rings set, featuring genuine old world
craftsmanship. The engagement ring contains a brilliant traditional
hearts & arrows cut VERY WHITE and CLEAR center diamond set into a
regal palladium mounting. The large center stone is flanked by four 1
point diamonds set into an intricate fishtail prong setting. The
smaller diamonds are placed on each side of a center double millgrain
border for a total of nine diamonds & diamond facets to give the
illusion of more diamonds. The elevated palladium setting makes the
diamond appear much larger than it's .11ct size. The diamonds' sparkle
power is vibrant,(!) noticeable from across the room, emitting
scintillations of colors from every spectrum in the rainbow.........
red, blue, green and violet. . These are extremely white near flawless
diamonds. I can't see ANY inclusions with a 10x power loop! The
matching white gold band features sixteen 1 point diamonds pave' set
into an elegant fishtail mounting with two rows of fine millgrain
separating each row of diamonds and diamond facets giving the illusion
of more diamonds. These diamonds are bright WHITE and CLEAR! The
design of the bands gives the impression there are four bands when the
set is worn together. The diamond wedding band has a hidden
retractable latch locking device that can be opened and closed to lock
the rings when worn together. Each ring is beautiful worn alone but
together the set is stunning! As I said these are very very white and
clear diamonds, I cannot detect any inclusions with a 10x power loop.
The rings have several hallmarks. The white gold diamond engagement
ring is marked, Priscilla (I suspect this is the pattern name), 14Kt,
.11ct, Pat'd. F-L. The white gold and sixteen diamond wedding ring
band is marked, 14Kt, Priscilla, Pat'd. F-L. I am unsure what the
patent designation refers to. Possibly flawless diamonds, or perhaps
indicates the patent on the locking device. This white gold and
diamond wedding ring set has a total of one large center diamond and
24 smaller diamonds, estimated total carat weight is 35 points. That's
OVER 1/3 carats of near flawless diamonds! Currently a SIZE 7-1/4 and
could be easily resized at your local jeweler. The condition is
excellent, and only will need a light polish and cleaning. This
wonderful set of antique rings have exquisite workmanship that cannot
be found in modern reproductions. It appears to have been only
occasionally worn and the diamonds are near colorless and flawless. My
jeweler rates these as VS clarity and approximately H in
color(extremely white clear radiant stone). This set would run upwards
of $800.00 to purchase it new. You cannot find this type of
workmanship or such exquisitely cut diamonds on the market today. If
you or someone you know covets antique diamond jewelery this would be
a perfect addition to a fine antique jewelry collection. This is a NO
