UNMARKED-THIS DOLL HAS A SOFT VINYL HEAD, HER BODY IS MADE OUT OF
STUFFED SOFT VINYL (FAIRY SKIN)-SHE HAS WIRE IN LEGS TO POSE HER-SHE
IS 14 INCHES TALL****THIS WONDERFUL VINTAGE DOLL IS JUST BEAUTIFUL. I
FOUND HER AT A ESTATE SALE. SHE WAS MADE IN THE 50's. SHE HAS BLUE
SLEEP EYES THAT WORK GREAT WITH ALL HER ORIGINAL EYELASHES. SHE HAS
BEAUTIFUL LONG SHINY BLOND HAIR. (MISSING NO PLUGS) HER PAINT IS
ORIGINAL AND BEAUTIFUL. SHE HAS A SOFT VINYL HEAD. HER BODY IS ONE
PIECE, AND IS SOFT STUFFED VINYL. SOME PEOPLE CALL THIS TYPE FAIRY
SKIN. SHE HAS WIRE IN HER LEGS SO YOU CAN POSE HER. SHE CAN SIT OR
STAND. SHE IS UNMARKED BUT LOOKS LIKE A AMERICAN CHARACTER DOLL. SOME
AMERICAN DOLL’S, ACCORDING TO MY AMERICAN CHARACTER DOLL BOOK, WERE
UNMARKED. YOU SOMETIMES JUST HAVE TO GO BY THE LOOK. AMERICAN
CHARACTER MADE SEVERAL DOLLS WITH THE BODY STYLE OF THIS DOLL. THEIR
BABY SUE, LITTLE RICKY AND OTHERS HAD THIS BODY STYLE. SHE ALSO HAS
THE LOOK OF THEIR LITTLE GIRL DOLLS IN HER FACE. SHE IS DRESSED IN A
VINTAGE DOTTED SWISS FABRIC DRESS, WITH MATCHING PANTIES AND VINTAGE
WHITE SHOES. THESE ARE THE CLOTHES I FOUND HER IN. (I PUT A PINK
RIBBON IN HER HAIR) I DON’T KNOW IF THE OUTFIT IS ORIGINAL OR NOT.
BUT THE DRESS AND SHOES ARE OF HER VINTAGE. AMERICAN CHARACTER AND
OTHER COMPANIES USED DOTTED SWISS FABRIC TO MAKE THE DRESSES FOR MANY
OF THEIR DOLLS, IN THE 50'S AND 60'S. THIS DOLL IS IN EXCELLENT
CONDITION! THE ONLY PROBLEM I CAN FIND IS A LITTLE PINK DISCOLORATION
ON HER BOTTOM. (SOME COMPANIES PUT PINK ON THESE DOLLS BOTTOMS FOR
SOME REASON, SO IT MAY BE THAT SOME OF THE PINK ORIGINALLY TO HER,
HAS WORN OFF- I DON’T KNOW) THIS DOLL DISPLAYS JUST BEAUTIFUL. I
BOUGHT HER FOR MY OWN COLLECTION. MY COLLECTION IS GETTING JUST TOO
BIG. SO I AM SELLING SOME OF MY FAVORITE DOLLS. MY LOSS YOUR GAIN. HA
HA! I AM STARTING THIS WONDERFUL DOLL AT A LOW BID WITH NO RESERVE.

Vintage American Character Tiny Tears Vinyl Baby Doll

Vintage 12†American Character “TINY TEARSâ€. She is a fully
jointed vinyl doll. This baby has brown sleep eyes with full lashes
and thick reddish brown hair. The sleep eyes are sticky.Unfortunately
age has deteriorated her skull cap in several places. I was able to
wash and comb her hair without any problems. There are no missing
plugs. There is a tiny speck of paint missing from her lower lip. She
has no chew marks. Patent No. 267564. She comes with original clothes
(bonnet, panties and dress)and some extra clothes I found her with.
The panties need a new rubber band. She has some light blue stains on
both of her legs. See pictures. The white stuff is not a stain, it was
cleaning residue.The clothes have been cleaned. The seam on the
underarm of her dress needs to be sewn up. It is a small area.A very
cute and nice doll for her age!

How do I describe this doll? She is vintage - not sure how old - about
8" tall - very fat - made of burlap with primitive stitchwork -
stuffed with something dense. An odd-looking doll, but she has a
certain charm! No bad odor - but she does have that faint aroma of
age, which I love.
