Old Vintage Native American Indian Papoose Doll

What a great find! This old indian doll was in an old box of items at
an elderly couples. It belonged to their daughter and had to be from
the 40's or early 50's. It measures 4" tall and is in excellent
condition. On the back of the green tag it says Greetings with To
and From with a 3 cent stamp . It is amazing that it was mailed for
only 3 cents and wasn't harmed! A great addition to any collection!
SHIPPING: Buyer to pay $3.85 shipping. Insurance is optional for an
additional $1.30. If buyer chooses not to purchase insurance, I am
sorry, but I cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items by
the US Postal Service. International Shipping will differ from
shipping within the United States.
PAYMENT: Payment must be received within 10 days of auction end. I
accept PayPal, Money Order, Cashiers Check or Personal Checks .
Checks accepted only if bidder has numerous good feedbacks with no

VINTAGE CHALK WARE /PLASTER AMERICAN INDIAN "CHIEF"?

Attractive face of an American Indian made in chalkware or plaster of
Paris, I don't know the difference or if their is one. Also do not
know if it is a "chief", squaw, or warrior. Very vivid colors and I
will try to describe as detailed as I can. Don't know age but person
who sold it to me said it had been in their family a long time. There
are 2 wire hangers on back. Actual weight is 3.5 pounds. Braided dark
brown hair, and eyes. Red cheeks and mouth color. There is alot of
detail and shading in colors on face and head dress. Looks like beads
of red and green in hair along with several feathers; possibly wearing
earrings. Just such an interesting face and coloring that I hope
colors are picked up for you to see. Excellent condition excepting
for 1 tiny (1/4") chip at bottom that is hard to see and a few scuffs
here and there on some edges. None of the chips or scuffs are
detracting because they are small and other color is so vivid and
pretty. Would look great hanging on a wall in den, bar area, office or
to add to any American Indian collection. Shipping priority mail
from zip 46038; weight is under 5 pounds.
