Vintage 13" Painted Bisque Head American Indian Doll nr
Last Price: $160.37 Ending Date and Time (GMT): 2004-11-01 01:04:40 [IMAGE]
This is a fabulous old Native American Indian doll, 13" tall, with a
painted bisque head with open mouth and four teeth and set glass brown
eyes and a black mohair wig. He has a hard stuffed torso and wire
jointed arms and papier mache, wire jointed legs with red felt
mocassins. The head is glued on to the body at the neck. He has a
wonderful Indian costume on made of felt with feathers and fringe and
he is holding a bow and a spear. His hair needs combing out in the
back, otherwise, he is in excellent condition. No cracks or breaks.
Costume is clean. I don't know how old he is, possibly 1930s or 40s.
Great doll.

AMAZING VINTAGE NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN TRI LEG POT !
Last Price: $9.99 Ending Date and Time (GMT): 2004-10-28 02:01:56 HERE FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A FINE CERAMIC POT I BELIEVE TO BE VINTAGE
NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN BUT I AM NOT AN AUTHORITY AND AS IT WAS A FIND
FROM A LOCAL TAG SALE I HAVE NO HISTORY ON THE PIECE, IT IS A HAND
SPUN POT OF CLAY THAT MEASURES 5" TALL AND 12" AROUND IT FEATURES A
TRADITIONAL FORM WITH THREE SMALL LEGS AND IT IS BRILLAINTLY DECORATED
WITH TWO FISH AND TWO HEADRESS TYPE DESIGNS ETCHED INTO THE POT BY THE
SKILLED HANDS OF A SEASONED POTTER, THE POT IS FINISHED INSIDE AND OUT
WITH A SHINY EBONY COLORED GLAZE A BIT DARKER THAN THE PHOTOS, THERE
ARE SO MANY ELEMENTS ABOUT THIS LITTLE POT THAT LEAD ME TO BELIEVE IT
IS AN EARLY PIECE FROM AN AMERICAN TRIBE. THE POT REMIANS IN GOOD
CONDITION WITH ONLY TWO SMALL CHIPS ON THE VERY TOP RIM OF THE PIECE
AND I HAVE SUPPLIED A PHOTO FOR YOUR INSPECTION! AGAIN I AM NO
