BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE AMETHYST and AB RHINESTONE BROOCH IN EXCELLENT
CONDITION, ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, SUPER SPARKLY!
The brooch is about 2 1/2 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide. It
contains marquise and baguette AB stones and round amethyst
rhinestones. There are no missing, dead or dull stones. The silver
metal shows no sign of wear - it looks new. It is signed (c)WEISS. The
pin back works fine. This pin will add sparkle to your outfit without
being super bold.
A little information about ALBERT WEISS. He worked for the CORO
jewelry company and then started his own company in 1942. The company
was in business until 1971. He made many pieces that are not signed.

This lot consists of a vintage Italian filigree 800 silver brooch set
with an amethyst stone. It measures just over 1 ½ inches wide and one
inch tall. It has a safety style catch in the back and is marked
“800“ and “Italy“ on the reverse. It is in good overall
condition without any breaks in the fine metal work or damage to the
stone. The stone scanned a bit red and is actually a deep purple in
natural light.
