Vintage 7-1/4" bisque jointed shoulder doll marked Made in Japan.
Referring to my book, she looks very much like a Nippon doll, but no
hallmark. She more than resembles Betty Boop with her bobbed, wavy and
molded hair. She has big Betty Boop eyes with heavily painted lashes.
The body is solid and she does have shoulder joints. Her arms and
hands are completely intact with no chips or other damage. The doll
also has O’Neil star-shaped hands like the Kewpie dolls. Paint
and coloring are very, very good. All she needs is a good bath and a
new home.
* Height: 7-1/4"
* Condition: Dirty, but excellent condition.
