Lovely old ART DECO AMETHYST rhinestone brooch!...........Vintage - circa
1950's. Faceted amethyst chatons representing flowers are bright and
sparkling ( no darkened or missing stones ). Beautifully engraved
silver leaf filigree pattern surrounds the floral cluster. Setting is
polished, textured goldtone finish over pot metal. Strong brass pin
back with secure safety clasp. Measures 1 7/8 inches wide by 1 3/8

This is a large convex shield shaped pin made of metal with an art
nouveau design on the front, like gargoyles. It is 2" high and 2 3/4"
across, with the old C clasp. Because of the patina, it has a darker
background, bringing out the design which is lighter. The back of the
pin is tarnished; this is to be expected. It's a really great
piece for your collection of old jewelry!
As with most vintage jewelry this piece has been gently used, and may
or may not show signs of normal wear, which add to its charm. However,
I try to describe this accurately.
It can be shipped for $0.85 first class, including handling.
