Vintage LOT Bird Dress Clip FLAPPER GLASS Necklace Pin

Included in this lot are vintage and/or antique items. There is a hat
pin or cape ? pin of that has two large purple stones. They are glass
and the backing is a goldtone metal. Insets are starting to show
some wear or aging underneath the glass. This is the kind that has a
thick stem and the one end unscrews rather than being a regular
clasp. This is over 4 1/4 inches long and the purple pieces are about
1 1/4 x 1 inch. There is a hair pin with plastic insets. Nice pair
of black earrings with small beads. The dress clip is lovely and
features a bird with outstretched wings and flowers below it. I saw
this clip featured in one of my reference books, by the way. The
necklace is super. It's like 64 inches long and has glass beads in
different shapes. The string is knotted between beads and appears to
be the original or at least old and might need to be replaced at some
point. I can see that at least some of the beads have some light
chipping. Please check out my other auctions. I'm back after a
brief break because I HAD A BABY!!! It's a boy. :-) I've got lots of
fantastic jewelry and other goodies to sell so stick with me for a

Antique Vintage Bird Paradise Pin Brooch Wing Moves!

Offered is an unusual vintage large Bird of Paradise pin/brooch. I
would estimate the age to be 1930-40’s (may be earlier, but want to
be conservative). The unusual part to this pin is the one mechanical
wing-it has a manual movement of about ¾ inch. There are 3 ruby red
(appears to be synthetic) oval cabochons (largest measures ¾ inch
long, two smaller measure ½ inch long). Each wing has 1 small clear
stone, with 2 bands of small stones on the shorter tail feathers.
There are 4 small clear stones on the head with a red stone for the
eye. It is a silver tone metal with what appears to be applied gold
and red highlights (these areas are faded to where mostly showing is
silver. It is still attractive, since it adds contrasting to the pin).
The pin is in working order, but is bent in 2 areas (the actual
pin/clasp). Don’t miss out, it is doubtful that many of these are
still around! (Please see the other pins currently being offered and
save on postage)
