I will try to describe this to the best of my abilities. I've just
inherited all of Great Grandma's jewelry and these are all too lovely
to keep unloved in a jewelry box. This ring is quite large in size,
guestimated to be at least an 8 -- I wanted to size it to a 4 and was
advised against it. My loss .... your gain! If you are familiar
with anything regarding this ring, please let me know so I can add or
correct this listing to be as accurate as it can be. Since I'm not a
jeweler, I have no idea what this truly is, other than old. I do not
intend to mislead or misrepresent any items, I can only give you a
bird's eye view of the description. My Gram was born in 1906 and this
was given to her on her 14th birthday, so around 1920. It is stamped
14 with some sort of marking next to it that I cannot distinguish.
The diamonds are mined, therefore are not polished to a high sparkle.
The setting is rose gold, not a true yellow gold. The blue stones are
blue on top and clear on the bottom...confusing I know, but was
told not an uncommon practice back then...something about compressing
two stones together...I really don't know. All stones are secure in
the setting and there is a little filigree work on each side.
This item looks very dark in the photo, when it's actually very
light. If you'd like to see any additional photos, I'd be happy to
supply them on a sunny day, as you can see, a rainy day does this no
justice!

This pretty and unusual Bee Pin has 3 large blue stones that have silver
running through the stones. They may be lapis, but I am not sure.
There are also 3 light blue rhinestones that are prong set. There is
a heavy silver backing holding the stones. The locking clasp works
very well. The pin measures 1 3/4" wide and aboout 1" deep. This pin
is from the late 1940's, or maybe earlier. Any questions, please
