VINTAGE BROOCH & CLIP ON EARRINGS AURORA BOREALIS

Lovely silvertone vintage flower brooch and clip on earrings with aurora
borealis stone in the middle. The silvertone is shiny on edges and the
petals are a flat creamy silver color. There is sort of a
yellowing on the petals and I don't know if that is supposed to be
like that or what would have caused it. I didn't try to clean them.
Thought I would leave that to new owner. The brooch measures about 3"
in diameter and the clip on earrings are about 1 1/2" in diameter. I
can't find any markings anywhere. Shipping will be $4.00 in U.S.
Payment must be made within 7 days of end of auction or item can be

Working from the first picture down, there are only TWO pins in this
auction that are shown in the first two pictures. The rest are on
other auctions.
Total in this auction are 13 pairs of earrings, 2 pins, and one
pendant. The pins in this auction are the two aurora borealis stone
pins. One is a snowflake style pin and the other, maltese cross. The
maltese cross style pin is about 1"X1" and has a small loop for
pendant use as well. Excellent condition; there is scroll work in the
gold tone background and prong set stones. EXCELLENT condition. The
snowflake style pin is adorable and about 1.25" wide. Prong set stones
in silver tone metal. GORGEOUS and just in time for the holiday
season!
The next two pictures show a firey pair of clip earrings in austrian
crystal, aurora borealis effect. They measure about 3/4" in diameter
and are exquisite and in excellent condition! The pictures just don't
do them justice....
Pictures 9 and 10 show ten lovely pairs of vintage earrings, all clip
except one pair. To the forefront of the photo is one pair alone in a
whitish marblized stone set together with wire on clip back that says
Western Germany. I think they are some sort of
plastic/lucite/bakelite. They are in great condition measuring a
little over 1" wide.
Working up the row to the left in the picture is a blue pair of again,
some sort of plastic, (on all of the plastics, I am not sure exactly
what the material is and am far from an expert in this field.)
earrings. They are lightweight and again marked Western Germany clip
backs. They measure about 1" long and just under 1" wide.
Next is a white pair of double ball earrings with screw backs. Light
weight plastic-like material. No markings and great condition with
some wear noted to gold tone.
Next is a gold tone pair of clip back No markings, great condition.
Not sure these are vintage.
Next is a clip back pearl center, leafy type styled edging in gold
around the pearl. I'm not convinced these are vintage either but I'm
including them.
The last in the row to the left are clear center with smaller pearls
surrounding and separating them are small gold tone seed beads. Great
condition. No markings.
Moving to the right column, above the centered earrings at front of
pic, is a pair of ball earrings, pierced, marked Napier. One of the
balls has a crack in it. They are 1.75" long.
Next is a milk white pair of bead earrings, marked made in Japan. They
are some sort of plastic and in excellent condition, measuring about
1" round.
Above them is a brown rhinestone and gold tone pair of clip earrings.
These are REALLY neat. One side is a pear shaped light brown
rhinestone while the other as a clouded brown stone that has a flower
like a rose, carved/incised/raised in it. They are marked/signed
Doods." They measure about 1.1" long and are in great condition with
some wear to the gold behind the brown rhinestone.
Finally a really neat pair of pearl and rhinestone earrings on a
beautiful filigree background mostly seen on the clip back side. There
are four pearls separated by crystal-like beads that have channel set
clear rhinestones inside. Really different and very pretty. Nice
condition and they measure about 1" wide.
The last pictures show two pairs of Aurora Borealis earrings. One pair
with round entirely faceted crystal? (or glass) has a unique gold tone
lever back and the crystal is about 3/8" wide. The other pair is screw
back. The screwback has an aurora borealis rhinestone at the and drops
down to the tear shape dangle which matches the necklace. The metal is
silver tone and has darked on one earring (above the tear drop) and
not the other. The length of the earring is about 1.25". The drop
decoration is exactly the same as the necklace, so I believe this is a
matched demi parure.
The necklace is 16" silvertone chain with 1" drop tear shape
stone/glass bead pendant. Again, I'm not entirely sure of the material
and suspect it to be glass or crystal.
