VINTAGE ART DECO BOW BROOCH - BAKELITE ?

This auction is for an amazing vintage Art Deco Bow Brooch. Possibly
Bakelite - I am not sure. The old piece has some weight to it and
looks like parts of it were hand carved. There two beautifully
detailed carved areas in middle area of the bow on either side. These
cuts give the illusion of inlaid gems and sparkle in the light. The
rest of the details in this brooch also reflect the light with elegant
shiny and shadowed patterns. The middle knot area is carved with v cut
grooves that are outlined with four delicately inlaid twisted golden
wires made of some type of metal. These inlaid golden wires also
sparkle nicely in the light. The color of the brooch is that very
vintage opaque dark forest green. The clasp on the underneath is
approx 1 ¾†long and is the long pin with a round hinge on one end
and the "c" ring part that the pin fits into on the other with the
little knob you turn to close. The pin part is still straight with no
bends in it.
The brooch measures approx 2 ½†wide and approx 1 ¾†tall at the
ends of the bow and approx 1†at the middle of the bow.
