Huge Vintage Dazey Butter Churn #80 w/Original Jar

Up for auction we have a huge vintage Dazey butter churn. It is marked on
the glass jar "Dazey Churn No.80, Patented Feb.14, 22, Dazey Churn &
Mfg. CO. St. Louis, MO Made in U.S.A.". This is a wonderful old jar
that is the original to this churn. It has the old rippled glass and
there are no cracks or chips anywhere. The top metal part is also
marked "Dazey" and also has the Daisey embossed on it. The crank
handle has "HO9" embossed on it. The handle turns perfectly, but does
have some surface rust on it. The lid also has rust, but I do think it
can be cleaned up to look almost new. There are no rust throughs,
holes or cracks on the lid. No dents either.It has the original paddle
and it is in good condition also. I really don't see much wrong with
this churn, it just needs a good cleaning and polishing and maybe a
paint job if you desire. It measures 16" tall. The jar measures 7 1/2"
on each side. It is square at bottom. I don't know how many gallons it
holds, but my guess is 4. A great piece of memorabelia for the
kitchen.

breakable item. Insurance is $1.30 for up to $50, $2.20 for up to $100
and $2.20 plus $1.00 for each additional $100 worth of coverage you

This "NEW STYLE WHITE CEDAR CYLINDER CHURN" belonged to my grandmother
who recently passed away at the age of 102. My father has memories of
it being used by her when he was a child.
The 3 Quart churn is missing the drainage plug. There is one small
chip of wood out of the lid approx. 1/4" x 1/2" and the lid is
split in two places around two nail holes. The larger split is
approx. 3'' in length, the smaller one is approx. 1 1/2" in length.
These splits do not interfer with the fit of the lid. The piece is in
good condition but does show normal wear due to its age. I have also
included the wooden spoon or "paddle" my grandmother used with the
churn in the butter making process.
Approximate measurements: 15" high, 13" wide, 9 1/2" deep without
handle, 15" deep with handle and weighs 10 lbs.

Unusual butter churn, it is 2 gallons plus in size. It is shaped like an
old wooden barrel, but made of heavy thick glass. There is a small
chip on inside of the top rim other then that mint. Stands around 15
inches tall. It has a wire and wood handle, and the churn is made of
wood. The bottom is marked with a circle and a horizontal diamond
running through the circle, with either an I or an anchor in the
circle. date 7,28 For the longest time I thought the bottom had a bad
pour job, but examining it before listing it appears to be a man on a
horse with wheat running around the outer edge, I think. It is hard to
