Vintage Vogue Ginny 1950's Doll

Vintage Vogue Ginny Doll marked on the back Ginny Vogue Dolls Inc Pat
# 2687594 Made in USA. She is wearing a floor length formal dress,
which I believe is called a bridal trousseau dress in a rose color.
This is not my area of knowledge, so please email any questions, as
dolls are not returnable, unless I have misrepresented her. I am
listing her at no reserve, with a very low starting bid. She is one of
3 Vogue Ginny dolls, which I am listing this way. I will do my best to
describe her.
This Ginny doll turns her head when the legs move. She has straight
legs, not bent knee. She has a reddish blond wig, which needs to be
styled. Her eyes are blue glass with black center, open & close, and
seem to work fine. She has molded lash and painted brows & red lips. I
note no cracks or chips on the plastic & she seems to walk fine. She
has no shoes or slip. The dress has a velvet top and lace bottom with
a crisp attached underskirt. There is a hook & eye closure on the
dress & a Ginny Medford Mass tag on the inside. The dress has a torn
area top front and wear, fraying, & missing lace at the front area.
The back of her legs have a pink stain, which I assume must have been
from the dress ? I have attempted to show this in a photo.
There is a metal stand, not original, which is included.

This darling Vogue outfit measures approx. 3 1/2" from shoulder to hem
and is in very good condition, no stains or tears. The coat is bright
red and the dress a pretty tartan plaid. The bows on the sleeves need
to be tied, but will leave that to the new owner. The labels read,
"Vogue Dolls Inc.Bedford Mass., USA . Reg. US Pat. Off". They are from
a collection of doll clothes I bought from an elderly lady who liked
to collect dolls at one time and they have been stored for quite a few
years. I will be listing some on eBay from time to time.

$2.00 shipping and insurance.

VINTAGE CISSY DOLL DRESS
This is a lovely cotton and organza Madame Alexander Cissy doll dress.
This could be what the book calls the Cafe Rose and Ivory cocktail
dress. The bodice and skirt are a cotton floral / toile type material
and the sleeves are sheer organza. The bodice has four "rhinestones"
attached to the left side and there is one attached to the left
organza sleeve. See photo. It is tagged with the MA Cissy original tag
and is in great condition. Probably could use a washing after all
these years. The back has three snap closures and they are all there
and in good working condition. There is a light light stain on the
right side organza sleeve. Very light and small but wanted to mention
it. There is some other light staining in the creases or folds of the
dress from years of storage. Hard to see and find. May come out in
cleaning.
Please feel free to ask us if we have the matching accessories because
we are just figuring out what goes with what.
We just recently purchased a whole Cissy collection from a woman who
owned it all as a child. Keep watching our auctions for more Cissy
items including coats, dresses, jewelry, shoes, hat boxes, purses,
etc.
