VINTAGE MILK GLASS Hen on a Nest-Indiana Glass Co

This is a beautiful MILK GLASS Hen on a NEST with hobnail trim. It was
manufactured by the INDIANA GLASS CO., a subsidiary of LANCASTER
COLONY CORPORATION, Dunkirk, Indiana 47336. It has a zip code, so it
has to be after the mid-1960's. Lancaster Colony took over McCoy
Pottery in their later years. It is model 7155 Milk Glass. The piece
measures 7" long x 5-1/2" wide x 5-1/2" tall. The inside is smooth and
high gloss. The edge of the nest is adorned all the way around in a
hobnail design. The outside of the nest is highly embossed with a
straw nesting material design and the hen on top is embossed with
feathers. It is in perfect condition., and weighs 1 pound 8 ounces
without packaging. There is a slight manufacturing moulding mark on
the inside lip of the top, adding to its authenticity. I do not know
the exact age of this piece, but it comes in its original box and has
never been used. The box is stamped on the bottom in a circular design
common to corragated boxes, GRIEF GROS. CORPORATION, ZANESVILLE, OHIO,
and the box number 1335. This might provide a clue to its age. My
listings end mid-week and I will ship Saturday morning via USPS
Priority Mail following receipt of payment. Insurance is required.

This is a gorgeous cobalt blue vintage Westmoreland glass
rooster-on-nest bowl! It is beautiful dark cobalt blue glass and is in
absolutely mint condition, with no chips, cracks, or damage that I can
find. It is clearly marked "WESTMORELAND" in a circle on the bottom of
the bowl, on the inside of the bowl, and on the underside of the top
piece. The top is a rooster that is beautifully detailed with its head
pointing straight ahead and its tail curved over in an arch and a
split in the back. The piece measures about 5 1/2 inches long and 4
1/4 inches at its highest. This is a wonderful example of vintage
Westmoreland glass and would make a great addition to any Westmoreland
collection or an impressive accent to any table! Please don't hesitate
