This auction is for the pictured Cameo Locket.
A nice little locket, made of a gold toned metal. Has room for two
photos inside.
Unsure of age, this was part of a lot I recently bought at a sale, I
was told by previous owner that it had to be from the 40's.
I am no expert on this sort of stuff. It looks in be a nice piece in
decent condition. It it unsigned as far as I can tell.
Offered at no reserve.

Item Description: What a charming little vintage locket, most
likely Victorian. The locket measures 1 1/8 inches tall and 7/8
inches wide. Overall good vintage condition with some wear to the
gold plate.

Vintage Gold Beast Locket

This is an old, probably antique, 14 carat gold locket decorated in high
relief with a mythical beast having a feline head and tail with a
scaley snake-like body in between. There is a small stone set in the
eye. The opposite side has an engraved monogram. It is abut 7/8 of an
inch in diameter (not including the rings at the top) by 5/16 of an
inch thick. The inside has a bezel and glass for a photo on one side.
This was made by Carter, Gough & Company, Newark, NJ, in business from
1841 to 1922. Marked on the inside of the front cover with "14K" and
the company trademark, please see the photo.
The condition is excellent with no damage or repair.
