SIZE - This beautiful kokeshi doll is 9 inches tall and the bottom
base is 2 1/4 inches round. This one is stamp signed under it and
the head does not move.
CONDITION - is very good and I don't know its exact age. There are no
defects on this doll. It's in very good condition. A nice kokeshi
doll to add to your collection or to start one.
SHIPPING - is $18. by regular air mail which takes from 9-12 days
delivery from Japan. EMS 5-6 days delivery which includes insurance
and tracking but will cost more. I've been selling on ebay for 5
years and haven't really had any shipping problems. Shipping is based
on the weight of the package and the delivery date will depend on
the postal service in your area.
PAYMENT - is by PayPal only and is due within 3 days of the auction
ending date. If you have a problem with that please contact me in
advance otherwise the transaction is off and the item will be

GOOD CONDITION. This Hakata doll is 5 1/4" tall. This is at least from

Japanese Hinamatsuri Doll Accessories
Up for auction this week, we have an unusually large and complete
collection of Hinamatsuri dolls, with period furniture, small
accessories, stands and larger accessories. The Girl's Festival, also
known as Meiji Hina or Hinamatsuri, is held every March 3rd, and dolls
and accessories are formally displayed during the celebrations.
This collection is all from the same estate, and was purchased by the
original collector in the mid 1950s-1960s while stationed in Japan. We
have included a larger picture, with all of the dolls and some of the
accessories, so that you can see how the collection was originally
displayed. This auction is for the music set with paper pamphlet in
the first photos, and does NOT include all of the dolls and
accessories in the last picture. This auction is for the following
items:
This musician's set includes three paper and wood drums (the tallest
is 1 1/2" tall, a folding wooden drum stand, a gilt paper paddle, five
black lacquered paper musician's hats, a wooden flute, and the 8" x 5"
paper mini pamplet. The Japanese language paper pamphlet included is
not as elaborate as the pamphlet offered in the separate auction; this
one shows the musical instruments only. Likely c1950s- early 1960s; no
manufacturer's mark.
