It was A PART OF yard-goods of bedspread.
This is made for high-class one, and nowadays it is seldom you can
find.
This is very traditional & beautiful!
The pattern is woven finely with some thread of different colors.
It is slightly glossy, likes satin, to the touch.
This is excellent in good condition on the whole.

Still it has such a beautiful looks, Kimono or Obi became unsuitable
to wear someday.
This is from such a vintage Japanese Kimono or Obi.
I divide them into pieces carefully for every single stitch, and cut
out piece by piece.
And I also try to clean off the stains if it can be removed.
You can make various things; covers, bags, tapestries, mats and
Accessories.
Please give a new life to this fabric!
They are excellent for a special sewing, so that they can be your
favorite one.
These fabrics may be imperfect, because of damages from ages;
such as stains, needle holes or frays.
But as a whole, they're good fabrics.
I’ll describe these flaws as best I can.

It was A PART OF vintage yard-goods for Japanese bedspread.
This is made about 60 years or more ago.
Oume-yagu is one of the highest-class for the bedspread.
It is made for high-class one, and nowadays it is seldom you can find.
Oume-yagu is very light and strong cloth.
With the dry touch, it excels in breathability and hygroscopicity and
is sanitary.
This cloth has good affinity with cotton.
A cotton pad gets dry shortly after drying in the sun.
It would be made in order to celebrate something.
The pattern is woven finely with some thread dyed in advance.
it is very tasteful & beautiful!
This fabric is not washed and starched since it is un-used,
please keep in mind that it might be somewhat shrunk by washing.
There are some narrow stains of ages on hems.
A state is good considering its oldness.
