VINTAGE HAND-MADE SILK JAPANESE MEN'S KIMONO

You are bidding on a vintage Japanese men's kimono. The fabric
is 100% silk - brown with a black pinstripe. The lining is
blue cotton.
I bought it three years ago from a collection of antique
kimonos imported by a friend who brings limited quantities of
specialty items from Japan.
It has never been worn since I purchased it. It is in very
good condition. There are a few minor snags, all of which had
been repaired (hand-stitched) when I bought it.
From top of collar to bottom hem is 60''. From sleeve to
sleeve across the back is 26''. It comes with a black silk
sash which is 2 1/2'' wide and over eight feet long.

Comment
A unique vintage Nagajuban for men. A large magical mallet, called
Uchide-no-Kozuchi is on the back. Very auspicious motif. The material
is fine quality, thin, smooth and soft silk which is rarely found
nowadays.
