Unusual VINTAGE GIRAFFE STERLING & MARCASITE Pin/Brooch
This is a wonderful, heavy gauge, 3 dimensional, vintage figural
estate piece. The deep natural oxidation in the grooves between the
marcasites, maximizes the effect of the design and creates a dramatic
interplay of textures and planes. The marcasites shimmer with
brilliant intensity, much like diamonds. The artist incorporated
superb design with excellent craftsmanship. Quite sheik! All original
and intact, the brooch measures 2-1/2†tall x 1-1/4†wide x ½â€
deep and weighs 15.3grams. The large substantial clasp works properly
and locks securely.
Stamped as follows: 925.The piece is unsigned but the estate tag
listed it as European in origin.
Multiple purchases are welcome and will help to greatly reduce your
overall shipping cost.
