Vintage Apothecary Medicine Bottle FANCY STOPPER &LABEL

APOTHECARY MEDICINE
BOTTLE
On the auction block is a fancy old apothecary bottle. This bottle
was salvaged from an old drugstore that burned down. The pharmacy had
been home to a large collection of old medicines and cures, most in
pristine condition with original packaging. Unfortunately, almost
all were destroyed or severely damaged in the fire. This bottle
managed to survive in great condition, although the label took some
damage. It has one of the fanciest ground glass stoppers I've ever
seen.
It measures about 6 1/2 inches to the top of the stopper (just over 5
1/4 inches without) and about 2 1/4 inches across each side. Its base
is embossed:
G.L.G. CO.

The bottle has its original paper label. It was once brightly colored,
but is now darkened and worn away in some areas. The label reads:
TR. CINNAM.
The bottle itself is very clean and has no chips or cracks! The
stopper is perfect and has a little remnant of string around it.
Gorgeous! The stopper alone makes it a great specimen for display in
your collection!

These bottles are very collectible. Here's a great way to start or add
to a collection. Anyone with a science or bottle collection would love
them!
Use them as accent pieces to decorate your kitchen, bathroom, bar;
anywhere in your home. They could also be used in a nightclub or
restaurant. Put them on your film, movie or television studio set as
props. Great conversation piece!

Shipping is by Canada Post. Insurance is included in the shipping

Just the word WATKINS on this bottle, there is a number on the bottom
that I cannot make out.
The height of the bottle is 6 1/4 inches. Condition is perfect, this
is been part of a private collection.

This bottle is in excellent shape. The bottle is very clean and crisp.
The bottle measures 9 inches tall and about 3 inches wide.
The bottle has The Reliable Old-Time Preparation for Home Use on one
side. The other side has Prepared by Dr. Peter FAhrney & Sons Co.

This bottle does not have the cork but is one of the best old medicine
bottles I have seen.
