You are bidding on a pair of vintage Hurricane Oil burning Lamp. They
have clear chimneys but the bases are handpainted pale blue & gold
floral design over a sleek, black, glass or ceramic material......
Very unusual and attractive. ...almost elegant.
These unique oil lamps are very beautiful as well as useful. They're
about 14 1/2" tall with the chimney. The painted base appears to be
in very good condition as well. The pale blue and gold floral design
on the ebony background is stunning. The design of this pair of
lamps would go with any type of decor, making them very
versatile. These oil lamps are suitable for collecting,
decorating.... or can be filled and actually used when the power goes
off. Perhaps you have a cabin or summer home where this wonderful
lamp would be both beautiful and functional. Some folks just like the
glow of a non-electric lamp. They would make a terrific gift as
well.
I have owned and used a few of these in my day and these seem to work
fine. I trimmed the wick, and the roll keys work great. Oil Lamps
have become very collectible in recent years. This glistening pair is
an excellant way to add to, or start your collection.

Up for bids a matching pair of vintage Bistro oil lamps. The winder is
stuck on one and the other doesnt have a wick, also have some paint
wear otherwise good condition. They each measure 21 cm tall. Thanks

Hi, we are sorting thru our things we have collected over the years
and we are putting most of it up for bid.
Up for bid is one of five, old clear glass kerosene oil lamps.
This one is a lamp that goes in a wall bracket, but it doesn't have
to. It has Pat'd July 18, 1871 in the glass part around one side near
the top. This one also has a opening with a screw top so you can
re-fill it. It has a star brust design on the bottom and a 5/8 design
on the lower edge.
This one has a worn ring on the bottom. This is 4 3/4" h (w/o/b) and 5
3/4" (w/b) and 12 1/2" h, with the chimney and is 5 1/2" w. There is
no wick and the burner knob to turn the wick is missing.
This weighs 1lb. 7ozs. unwrapped and will be mailed Parcel Post.
If you live near Seattle, Washington, you may PICK UP some of the
heavy items that we list.
