Beautiful Vintage October Opal Ring with 14 Diamonds!

Estate sale find! October birthstone. Beautiful Vintage Opal Ring,
surrounded by 14 diamonds, prong set in 14K yellow gold. I had it
appraised by a graduate gemologist, certified insurance appraiser, who
determined the replacement value at $1600. A copy of the appraisal
will be provided.
These are some details from the appraisal: yellow gold ring, custom
cast setting with a high polish finish, stamped 14K and weighed at 4.4
grams. One oval shaped cabachon cut black crystal opal, 11 x 14 x 3.14
MM, 2.20 cts., prong set. There are 14 single cut diamonds, SI2-I1
clarity, H-I color, approx. 0.01 cts. each, pave set. This is a large
ladies ring. See photo of sizer for size. I believe it to be approx.
size 9 1/2. I am not a jeweler so please email if you have any
questions.
The ring is in good vintage condition but there is one prong missing.
You can see this in some of the photos. This appears not to effect the
integrity of the ring and the stone appears to be held securely by the
remaining 7 prongs. This is a vintage ring that was worn for many
years and is being sold in as is

This VERY SUBSTANTIAL ring is made of 14.7 grams of solid 18kt yellow
gold. Set in the center of the GORGEOUS setting is an AMAZING piece of
lavender jade. This 13 by 18mm oval jade is very nice quality and has
a WONDERFUL creamy violet color. Then set all around this STUNNING
stone are VERY BRILLIANT 3.5mm round garnets. Then around the garnets
are INCREDIBLE BRIGHT 4 by 6mm marquise shaped amethysts. The color
conbinations of these stones is BEAUTIFUL! The HIGH QUALITY
craftsmanship is shown throughout the skeleton setting. This ring is a
size 7 and can easily be sized.
