Up for bids is a wonderful Mexican Sterling silver brooch/pin. It can be
worn as both. In design of a roadrunner with mountains in the
background, this is stamped 3 times on the backside: .925 Hecho en
Mexico and a makers mark that is in the design of a type of sheild
with 157 in the middle and other marks below. This piece is in

Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Flower Pin Circa 1950

This is a three dimensional well made Vintage Mexican sterling silver
pin. Based on the "Mexican Silver" price guide page 11 (Glossary),
this is "unattributed pin c. 1950 Carole A. Berk, Ltd. Collection".
The pin is 1-3/8 by 1-3/8 by 1/2 inches and weighs .1 ounces (2.8
gramms).
The 2 wire stems which connect at the top with a small spiral wire and
the 6 petals in the center create unusual 3 dimensional flower.
It's in excellent condition with a straight back pin and a secure
safety clasp. It has a dark patina we have not altered in any way.
It marked "Mexico, 925, and 80-M32", but it is not marked "sterling".
While most sterling silver is marked "sterling", in some cases the
silver content (.925 here) is enough to show that it is sterling.

UPS GROUND and MUST HAVE A STREET ADDRESS FOR DELIVERY. We double-box
each shipment with cushioning and waterproofing between boxes. (Small
items may be in a padded envelope instead of an inner box.) Items are
each wrapped in tissue paper, then bubble wrap, and then strapped or
packed in foam peanuts to keep them from moving.
SHIPPING COST FOR THIS ITEM IS $6.95 VIA UPS IN THE U.S.A. PLEASE
CONTACT US BEFORE PURCHASING TO CONFIRM INTERNATIONAL, OVERSEAS U.S.,
OR OTHER SPECIAL SHIPPING COSTS.
Purchases may be combined in one box to reduce shipping cost as long
as the combined items do not make the shipment go over UPS's oversize
limits. Combined purchases of over $1,000 will be free of UPS ground
shipping costs, regardless of size, but may be sent in separate boxes
