Canister & Spice Set
Welcome to my auction. For your bidding consideration is a
wonderful, vintage canister and spice set. The pieces are
inscribed on the bottom GERDA and the spice size pieces are
stamped and marked URBACH-FRERES Made in Czechoslovakia with three
symbols. (See pic). All of the pieces have their lids, including
the oil and vinegar decanturs.
They are each decorated with a rose bouquet transfer framed in
yellow with two black swirly que designs at the top left and
right. All of the pieces will need a light cleaning. They glaze on
the outside of each piece has an irridescent sheen.
There are 16 pieces total. The tea, flour, sugar, rice (2),
oatmeal, and coffee canisters measure 5 3/4" tall x 3 3/4" wide x
4" in diameter. The flour canister has a small chip in the rim.
The coffee canister has a half inch chip in the rim and hairline
below the chip. Two of the lids have a very small chip in the
bottom edges.
They six spice canisters (Pepper, Cinnamon, Cloves, Allspice,
Nugmet and Ginger) are in good condition. Three of the spice size
lids have some chips underneath where they sit on the
canisters.The salt canister has a wooden hinged lid and one chip
along the front top edge. The oil decantur has a a couple small
chips along the bottom base edge and and the vinegar also has some
minor flakes along the bottom base edge.
Overall, the pieces are in very good condition and even with the
minor problems will make a charming display set in your cottage or
retro kitchen.

handling. Items weigh approx. 15 pounds. Insurance optional. Email
me for quote. Intern'l bidders are required to pay an additional
$5 handling fee.

close of auction or item will be relisted and appropriate feedback
left.
