Vintage Strawberry Shortcake Doll with Custard Cat Pet and Comb!
Up for auction is a Vintage Strawberry Shortcake Doll from 1979/80 by
American Greetings Corp.
This is Strawberry Shortcake herself with her red/white dress and
green/white stockings. Unfortunetely I do not have her Bonnet or
Shoes. But she does come with her pet, Custard Cat! Also, included is
a comb to comb her hair.
Everything is in Good, Played With, Condition!

Vintage Strawberry Shortcake Dolls and Accessories

This is an odd assortment of vintage Strawberry Shortcake items.
Included in this lot are two dolls. The first (left in the picture)
has American Greetings 1979 stamped on the back of her head. She is
wearing a hat, the dress, the striped tights, and brown shoes.
Unfortunately, someone at one time decided to give her a haircut. She
has a little cropped cut going on underneath the bonnet. The second
doll (right in picture) has apparently had an easier life. She still
has her hair, and her bonnet is actually still attached to her head
with two plastic pieces. She is missing her tights and shoes. She
also has American Greetings 1979 stamped on the back of her head.
There are four small cardboard figures also included. One has yellow
hair, one has pink hair, and two are Strawberry Shortcake (note: one
of the Strawberry Shortcakes has a very fragile neck). Only the
figure with the yellow hair has "legs".
The accessories lying around them include a feather piece, a small
orange outfit, a yellow sun headpiece, a red headband, and two blue
ballerina-type headbands.
Shipping weight for this lot is 10 ounces. You may use the postage
calculator at the bottom of the page to calculate your shipping
costs.

no flaws to note. She comes with her comb. She is also flat handed,
which means that she was one of the very first dolls to ever have been
made by AGC in the 80's.
