Vintage Tin Red, White & Flower Match Box Holder a retro Kitchen

Up for bids is this great old metal match box holder that was once
part of every kitchen so one could light the stove. This one is extra
nice with a flower and red and white design....a bit of wear, but
overall great shape..
High bidder agrees to pay $3.85 for USPS Priority shipping from our
zip code (02453) to yours. We pack very carefully (see our feedback)
but accidents do happen sometimes in shipping. Insurance is $1.30 and
is optional but recommended for breakables. We cannot be held
responsible for breakage in shipping. International buyers pay actual
shipping cost to your destination plus $1.00 for packaging materials.

Thank you for looking at my auction.
Up for auction is an 11 1/2"H x 13"W x 12"D, Vintage Tin Bread Box
with a Sweet Victorian Lady tending her flowers. The box needs
attention, has age paint wear, staining and rust but with the age and
cute decal, it would be worth working with or may want to display as
it is.
Door closes and locks but is slightly bent at the top corners. The
inside shelf is in good shape. This box has many scratches and
scrapes. Bottom has many rust places plus some in other little places.
Oh the stories this little box could tell from the use over the last
50 years. I am not sure of the exact age but I would guess it has to
be from the 40s or 50s. I am no expert so I will let that up to you
pros to determine its true age.
The 2 canisters have the same decal and are in used condition. One is
5 ½”H x 4 ¼”W and the other is 7 ¾”H x 7
¼”W. It looks like there may have been knobs on the lids at one
time. They sh0w rust and scratches as well.
These would be great for the collector, in a vintage kitchen or even
as planters.
Buyer should email seller at end of auction with buyer’s zip
code so that seller may calculate shipping costs. Seller will contact
you with shipping costs after receiving buyer’s zip code. If
Buyer wants item to be insured, please make known when sending zip
code. Payment is due within 10 days of auction end. Buyer should use
Money Order or Cashiers’ Check or Paypal.
