Vintage Tin Box with DRAGONFLY, WATER LILLY, and CATTAILS in a POND SCENE
on the lid and the pond scene on each side but no dragonflies and the
cattails aren't blooming in the side scenes. The box measures about 8
1/4" long by 7 1/2" wide by 2 5/8" high. It does have some surface
rust on the lid and around the outside bottom. There do not appear to
be any holes through as the rust doesn't look to go very deep, however
I did not try to clean it at all. It has a small 1/4" long crack in
the metal on each side of one hinge, doesn't seem to affect it. Lid
opens and closes. The two front corners on the lid are bent downwards.
The top corner seems on the box are not real tight (tin folded over
and bent to form seem. The front of the box has two dents. If more
pictures are need or there are any questions, please email. It was
used to store embroidery floss (not included), and I think it was
stored in the basement (a little musty, may air out?).
