This is a cute vintage set of ceramic turkey salt and pepper shakers,
hand-painted in orange/gold with red/orange and black accents. The
salt shaker (three holes) is slightly larger than the pepper shaker
(two holes) and stands 3" high and is about 3" across by 2" wide. The
salt shaker has two small rectangle markings on the bottom, which I
haven't seen before. Both pieces appear to be unused and have plastic
stoppers in the bottoms for filling. I always describe my items as
thoroughly and honestly as I can, so you will not be surprised by
imperfections. Close-up examination shows a hairline crack across the
salt shaker and a smaller hairline crack across the pepper shaker, but
these cracks cannot be felt and would not be at all noticeable if
these pieces were to be used for decorative purposes. The salt shaker
also has a couple of small marks on the front of it that appear to be
painting flaws. Still these are great to have out during the fall
season and Thanksgiving Day.
