**Special note: This past weekend I picked up a large collection of
Bakelite, Celluloid and a few older types of plastics. The first
picture in these ads is of part of the collection......items were all
sewn or pinned to satin pads........all pieces will be removed and
sold as stated.I have sold "bakelite" before based on listening to
how the pieces"clunk" rather than click, that there are no mold lines,
and its weight. The needle test destroys value, hot water test
works.......or not and chemicals work.......or not. So I do not use
them.These pieces were bought in good faith and in the belief by sale
statements and by my standards that the items are bakelite, celluloid,
or other plastics.......and am selling them as such.Please ask any
questions BEFORE you bid.
**DESCRIPTION: - A wonderful vintage estate cream winged pin with a
very Deco look ........made of Bakelite or other older
plastic..........about 2 1/4 inches across. Part of an old collection
of odd and unique looking buttons/belt buckles and jewelry. Would be a
great addition to your collection and wonderful to wear.
Auction Policies: Payment is Required within 10 days after close of
auction. If not received by then, item will be relisted and
appropriate feedback will be left. I will gladly combine items up for
up to FIVE consecutive days of the original auctions

Very Vintage Christmas Holly/Ribbons Pin, Pretty

This is such a pretty pin. I bought this for my mother in the 60's. It
looks like holly leaves but the flowers look like poinsettias. The
gold is a bow or ribbons. I'm not sure if the details are lucite??? I
know they are just not painted. The pin measures 1 3/4" in length.It
is just so lovely, a great addition to any outfit!! Buyer to pay only
actual postage, no hidden costs. Paypal or money order only, NO
checks. Thanks for looking and please check out my other auctions as I

[IMAGE] (#CAM3) This is a Very Pretty Vintage Signed Cameo Pin. It is
2" and it is in excellent condition. Gold tone setting with necklace
loop. Signed 'Gerry's'. This came from the estate of a woman who
collected only cameos. It is smooth to the touch, so I don't know if
it is bone or ivory. No hot pin testing is done on any of my pieces
for fear of damage. Exact age is unknown, but it is a vintage piece.
