VINTAGE NORDIC WARE KRUMKAKE IRON W/BOX & RECIPIES

You are bidding on a great old Krumkake iron by Nordic Ware. It has the
original box, but it is in rough shape. These Scandinavian cookies are
thin, crisp, delicate and pretty. The design on the inside of the
iron is transfered to the cookie, when it is baked. The iron measures
5 1/4" across. While the cookie is still warm you can shape it in
anyway you want. I have even made fortune cookies out of them smf they
were always a big hit at the children's parties. There is a
instruction book with some recipies, including ice cream cones, plus
the care of the iron. There is no cone shaper, but you can easily
make a cone of your own out of thick aluminum foil and waxed paper.
Just shape the aluminum, with the waxed paper over it, into a cone
shape. I will also include my krumkake recipie, that has been passed
down through the generations. Payment must be recieved within 10 days
of auction close. I prefer a mo or a cashiers check. A personal check

Up for your consideration is one lot of vintage Texas Ware melamine,
melmac plates in white with a double rose pattern in the middle. All
plates are in very good condition with normal silverware marks from
use. There is a total of 6, six, plates, measuring approx 10" in
diameter. There are no chips, cracks or breaks that I can locate.
This is a great addition to the vintage/retro kitchen!
