Here is a good display radio for a collector or antique shop. Selling
as a parts radio - AS-IS. The AM-FM band radio does not work. There is
no sound. Dial indicator shows discoloration. The plastic body has no
cracks, scratches, or major wear. I will add a SAMS Photofact folder
(no charge) for this radio with the sale. [ZEN-H-724]
Shipping and Handling Policy:
WE SHIP IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA. Most radio addressed to a
street address are shipped via UPS, which includes both tracking and
insurance. Post Office boxes must ship via USPS. Flat items, such as
posters/brochures are shipped USPS unless they were purchased with a
radio together. Then, they will be placed within the shipping carton
with the radio.
Other Information:
AS-IS radios sell as parts radios only. Unless stated, all radios have
their tubes tested for shorts, emissions, and grid leakage. All radio
will have their capacitors replaced to eliminate the eventual "HUM"
that develops over time due to leaking capacitors . However, due to
the nature of old tube electronics it is possible that a radio working
well one day could develop a reception problem without any warning.
Therefore, there is limited warranty of 15 days from delivery receipt
for each radio. Return shipping charges must be paid by the buyer.
AS-IS radios sell without being tested.

Bakelite case with flexible handle on top. Bakelite knobs. It looks
like the back of the knobs are translucent and may be back-lit. It
looks like there is a very small green pilot light over the volume
knob that is back-lit.
Overall Size: 15" wide x 8-1/2" deep x 9" high
Testing / Condition: The case is in great shape with maybe a few very
minor scuffs and scratches, but nothing deep or significant. No
cracks or chips found. The back panel is in place. The loop antenna
is in place. The interior looks excellent. The power cord is frayed
and needs replacing. We were unable to test the unit because of the
cord problem. If we interpreted the tuning knob correctly, it should
make the dial rotate, but it didn't. The label on the bottom showing
tube location, etc. is in good condition. No other problems with this
unit were found. NICE RADIO!

we observe about the item as best we can, but in the end, we aren't
experts in most of the items we sell, so we won't venture into
speculating too much about the condition of an item. You, as an eBay
buyer, are buying with the understanding that buying items remotely is
more risky than buying them in person at your local store, but you are
willing to take on that risk because you might save some money. We
are your eyes, ears, etc., so if we haven't provided all the
information about an item that you need, you must send us an e-mail
asking your questions and wait for the answers before you make your
purchase or place your bid. As soon as you bid or buy you agree to be

Shipping:
* Calculate your shipping charge for this item by entering your zip

ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS-IS, WHERE IS:
Unless we made a serious mistake in the description that materially
affects it's value, all items are sold as-is, where-is. As-is means
that you are buying this item with no warrantees or guarantees, real
or implied. Where-is means you own the item as soon as you win the
bid or buy it now and that you are responsible for it from then on.
This is significant in that while we do everything we can to pack our
items so that they get to you in good condition, we cannot guarantee
that UPS or the Postal Service will treat them well. It is very
important that you take advantage of shipping insurance (UPS covers
the first $100) in order to protect yourself from damage or loss in
transit. If it breaks or gets lost in transit, we will do whatever
possible to help (file claims, etc.), but in the end, whether the
shipping company covers the breakage or not, you own the item and are
responsible for the damage. Any insurance coverage is for the amount
paid for the product plus actual shipping charges and doesn't cover
our handling charges or any value beyond what is actually paid (yes,
that is unfair, but we have learned from experience that that's the
way it is).

About Us:
We are Rick and Lisa Young, and we are located in Springfield,
Vermont, which is the once famous machine tool center of New England.
We buy and sell assets of all descriptions. Typically that would be
household or antique lots and commercial or industrial lots. We
operate out of a large multi-bay garage off our home, which is
bursting at the seams with stuff to sell, things awaiting payment, and
the all-important shipping area where we do all our own packing and
shipping (the shipping area takes up 1/3 of the space). We also store
things off site and contract with a materials handling company to
handle freight items for us in a nearby town.
Although we have kept our business small on purpose, we now have
several thousand successful transactions on eBay to our credit. By
keeping to just the two of us, we are able to keep our costs down and
therefore keep our initial starting price low on all our listings
(typically $9.99). This also keeps our business simple - we don't
have to go far when misakes are made - we learn quickly. I spend my
time buying, hauling, sorting, listing, packing, and shipping. Lisa
spends her time handling all the e-mails, invoicing, processing
payments, handling problems, and when she can, listing. All this in
addition to normal activities having to do with the house, our first
grader, and other interests. This is how we make our living.
Although we work long hours, and the work we do can be a bit thankless
at times, we would encourage everyone to try selling on eBay, because
it has been very rewarding for us - both for our wallet and for our
lifestyle.

This is an old Zenith Royal 150 transistor radio. We believe the radio
was made in 1961. The radio takes 3 AA batteries and plays very well
with good volume and sound. The center tuning knob is for fine tuning,
while the outer knob is for fast tuning. The gold colored metal on the
knobs has oxidation, but the metal grillwork is fine with no dents.
The beige plastic case is also very nice with a very tight ½†crack
on the bottom right side near the bottom. Tried to show it in pic #3,
but it is hard to see. The black paint on the band at the bottom front
is streaked. This item will be shipped minus the batteries to save on
