This is a no reserve auction starting at just $9.95 for a roll of 37
bright and beautiful silver Washington quarters mostly from 1964 with
the D mint mark, but a few Philadelphia mint coins as well and at
least one 1963 in there that I spotted. These were picked from rolls
of old silver quarters my father left me and put aside because they
looked so bright and almost new compared to the other quarters. These
coins are in great condition and problem free.
Even in nice condition these Washington silver quarters are the Rodney
Dangerfield of old U.S. silver coins, they just don't get any respect!
You can buy junky silver coins for their bullion value or buy quality
for a few dollars more. Junk will always remain junk, but quality is
always in demand and continues to go up in value over time.
I don't have any certified and graded Washington quarters, but going
by other certified silver coins that I do have, I think some of these
would easily grade MS-63. PCGS puts the value of MS-63 around $13 each
for coins of this vintage. Of course it would probably cost more than
that to have PCGS grade one so I'll never know for sure.
Shipping is $3.95 for USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation.
Insurance is $1.30 up to $50 and optional above that. Ten day return
privilge if item is returned in same condition at buyer's expense.
Payment is PayPal, money order, or personal check (7 day hold).
