PLATES. THESE PLATES MEASURE 9 INCHES. THEY HAVE NO DENTS OR VISIBLE
DAMAGE, OF COURSE THE NORMAL WEAR MARKS FROM USE. EACH PIECE IS
STAMPED WILTON, COLUMBIA ON THE BOTTOM AND "RWP".

1982 Wilton Pewter Plate Christmas Scene Horse

This is a superbly detailed 1982 Wilton pewter plate. It has a
charming old mill, and horse and carraige scene with a barn and
waterwheel in the distance, the border is a pointsettia flower design.
Measures approx. 11", basicly mint condition. The back is just as
pretty as the front but the picture did not show it. It's been boxed
and put awy since new I was told and it looks it, rarely do Wilton
pewter plates look so stunning! Get a bid in early so you don't miss
out as this is a great time to scoop up a pewter Holiday Christmas

Welcome to my auction for a great piece of WILTON ARMETALE.
Up for bid is a Wilton Armetale 10-1/2” PLATE, marked Silver State
Kennel Club. I believe this was intended to be a trophy at a dog show.
You may want this because it has a special meaning to you or you will
feel as I have, with food on it, it looks great.
This piece is in very good condition, and does show signs of use, with
all the typical Wilton markings and hallmarks (RWP).
Great to display or to use at the dinner table.
Scottish, Celtic and Renaissance era lovers check these out! They
would be great for display or will be very useful for all the fairs
and festivals you attend and would look nice on the "feast" table. The
beauty of the Wilton Armetale is, it was made to be used daily and the
more it is used the better it looks, and you can mix and match pieces.
I could go on and on about Wilton Armetale but you should go to the
source, the Wilton website, www.armetale.com and you can get ALL the
info you need, and instructions for the care of your Wilton Armetale.
Wilton Armetale is not pewter but it looks very similar to pewter, but
with some improvements.
