ITEM DESCRIPTION
This Item and many many more Items just came from a Newly Acquired
Private Collection of Vintage and Old Pawn Native American Pawn
Jewelry, many of the pieces were purchased directly from the Native
American Silvermiths, Old Pawn Shops, Old Trading Post, and Roadside
Parks, if you a serious collector, or starting a collection, or just
Love Native American Jewelry, you should NOT miss this huge listing of
these pieces I will be making, there are 100's and 100's of pieces, so
please be patient, I will be getting them all listed as soon as I
can.... Also if you have a certain piece you have in mind, email me
the details and sizes of what it is your looking for, and I will get
it up for auction on eBay as soon as I can.
Up for Auction from this Private Collection,.. This big old Signed
Zuni Indian Handmade Sterling Silver & Quality Inlayed Sky Blue
Turquoise, Genuine Coral, Olive Shell, Rainbow Mother of Pearl, and
Black Jet Full Figured Zuni Eagle Rope Dancer Kachina Ring, Size
7......... Circa 1960's to 70s?........ The Top of the ring measures:
2+" tall x 1 3/8" at its widest point....... There is one area on the
Kachinas Back side, the Black Jet Inlay, I don't know if there is a
piece missing or not, in that area it look like there is a silver drop
in that part, and it also looks like there should of been more black
jet there as well, so to be safe about this, I am saying that there is
a small piece of Black Jet missing towards the top on the black jet
thats already inlayed there, its the area just at the kachina's top
shoulder to the side of the head where the Kachina's eye is, other
than that, this is a fine detailed Inlayed Kachina......... It has
Superb old Zuni Silversmithing & Craftsmanship, you can see in the
photo's all the saw marks on the side of the flat base piece of silver
all the way around the figure, including behind the rope, this is the
work of a master silversmith, most silversmiths don't back the twisted
wire ropes, when the rope goes off the main body of a piece, the
silversmith also has to hand cut out the area inbetween the ropes and
the figure, not an easy job, and most silversmiths these days don't
take the time to create these quality rings..... It is signed " BEYUKA
Zuni N.M ", and stamped Sterling........ I don't know for a fact which
Beyuka Made this ring, but I can say that this was made by a
silversmith with experience, patience, and having the knowledge of a
Master Channel Inlayer..... This Ring is Still in Excellent Condition
for its age and travels, as shown in the photo's, just needs polishing
if desired.
I HAVE NO RESERVE ON THIS MASTERPIECE, AND A VERY FAIR PRICING, THIS
IS A SUPERB WEARABLE INVESTMENT.
The US 25 cent Coin piece (A Quarter) is used in comparison of item,
so you can get an idea of the size.
